Responding to COVID-19: Providing a Clean, Serene Space
Because we want to slowdown the spread of COVID-19, we want you to know the steps we take at fibre: A Homespun Spa for the well-being of our clients and staff.
We accept only one client in the reception and treatment rooms at a time. This provides each client with a quiet setting for a therapeutic session while supporting the principles of social distancing.
We use laundered linens (i.e., sheets, hand towels, bolster covers, pillow cases, head rest covers) for each session.
We provide thoroughly cleaned and disinfected spa slippers. We accept a small number of appointments, each pair is worn only once a day.
We wipe our door handles, seats, faucet, sink and other hard surfaces with disinfectants before each session.
Because the CDC promotes hand washing as being more effective than using hand sanitizers, we stock the restroom with clean towels and pump dispensed, liquid soap for use before and after each session.
We clean and disinfect surfaces as well as supplies used for each session (e.g., foot bath basin, ladle, bolsters, facial massage tools).
For the hot and cold beverages, we provide freshly cleaned drinking glasses, tea cups and water decanters for each client.
New steps to address COVID-19:
We’ve placed alcohol-based hand sanitizer in the reception room for client use.
We’ll use a clean blanket on the massage table for each session. The throw in the reception room is being removed.
How you can help:
When you are feeling ill, please reschedule and remain at home.
Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer that is at least 70% isopropyl alcohol.
Be kind to yourself and others.
